Tweed Valley Canoe Trail launched with support from Fallago Environment Fund

The Tweed Valley Canoe Trail, developed by GO Tweed Valley as a fantastic new recreational asset for the Scottish Borders, was recently awarded £8,000 from Fallago Environment Fund. Launched last week, the 30-mile Trail runs from Stobo to Galafoot near Galashiels and mixes physical adventure with the chance to enjoy the area’s cultural history, landscapes and wildlife. The grant has provided waymaker signs and interpretation panels to share the stories of the magnificent River Tweed, provide a sense of place and geographic context, and encourage responsible behaviour on the water.
