The Tweed Water Vole Initiative was set up to investigate the status of the endangered water vole in the Tweed catchment and raise awareness of the issues facing this endangered native mammal.
The Tweed Wetland Strategy, published in 2010, was aimed at a broad spectrum of individuals and organisations who are actively involved in making decisions which affect wetland systems.
The Upper Yarrow Restoration Project restored 1 km of the Little Yarrow to a more natural, meandering course and created 9 ha of native woodland and wetland habitat across part of the River Tweed SSSI, and two other woodland SSSI sites. Tweed Water Vole Initiative
