We are seeking an enthusiastic Peatland Project Support Officer to join our team on a six-month funded internship through the NatureScot Peatland ACTION scheme. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in peatland restoration, working alongside experienced environmental specialists in the stunning Scottish Borders landscape.
The intern will shadow and provide support to our Peatland ACTION Project Officers, with a particular focus on fieldwork, GIS applications, and drone imagery collection. You will have the opportunity to gain an A2 Certificate of Competency (CofC) Drone Certification and First Aid Certification as part of the role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is comfortable working in outdoor upland environments. You should have a good understanding of environmental project work, strong IT skills, and a willingness to learn.
